Does This Make Life More Complicated?

I have wanted a dog for a very long time and while I was on a road trip visiting my family, Randy called and asked if I wanted a dog! After spending a week with my family on the ranch and seeing Tyler with the animals there (read previous blog) I just knew we needed a dog. Boone is the newest member of our little family. Tyler loves him and well I can only wish that Boone loved him as much. Needless to say a 2 year old is a little overwhelming to a dog, but Boone is learning and Tyler is learning too. Hopefully we won't give Boone a heart attack before they are use to one another. Yes it does feel like I have another child, but this child is a lot less work and does occupy Tyler a lot of the time. It is also fun to have a little running buddy. Boone loves it run so it is fun to have him come along on my runs. Plus I think every little boy needs a dog... DON'T YOU???

Jace Micheli Davis

I can't believe the long wait is finally over. Nine months of anticipation and now we are holding our little baby!! Jace Micheli Davis was born on September 15, 2008 at 2:55PM! He weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. He is absolutely perfect!! Randy brought me to the hospital on the 15th at 7:00AM to be induced. He left at 8:00AM to take a test. Luckily he didn't miss much! My mom was able to stay with Tyler and that was a huge lifesaver. Tyler loves his little brother and is full of hugs and kisses for Jace. We are in AWW at the tremendous blessing it is to have this baby as part of our family. We are also so humbled at this time with the family we have. I get scared thinking about the responsibility of two little boys and begin to get overwhelmed. I worry about the sleepless nights, the dirty house, the poopy diapers, the losing weight, and all that comes with having a baby. Then I look at my boys and the love I feel for them, and I am reminded how it is all worth it!!

Jace Micheli Davis Is Finally Here

We are so happy to introduce the newest member of our little family. Jace Micheli Davis was born on September 15,2008. He weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and is 20 in long. He was born at 2:55 PM. Randy brought me to the hospital at 7:00 AM and went back to school at 8:00AM to take a test. They started me at about 8:30 AM so Randy didn't miss much! Jace is now home and we are so happy to have such a sweet little spirit in our family. Tyler absolutely loves his little brother. He is so good at giving hugs and kisses. He loves to watch his movies and lay down on the floor with his arm extended and Jace laying there next to him. I forget how little these babies are and now it seems like Tyler is huge. I am in aw at how our family has been blessed and humbled at the opportunity to have our family!
